What to expect from our Fire Safety Training:

Basic fire safety awareness training 

Our basic fire safety training is for all staff to attend. We cover the Five Basic Fire Safety Practices:

1. Know your escape route

2. Have an emergency action plan

3. Make sure everyone knows where the fire exits are located

4. Keep flammable materials away from heat sources

5. Be alert to potential hazards

Practical use of a fire extinguisher, training

Ensure all your employees can use an extinguisher safely and effectively in the event of a workplace fire.

Your staff get hands-on experience of tackling a live controlled fire with the use of an extinguisher. As well as an understanding of the different types of extinguishers, the methods of operation, capabilities and limitations.

We cover the following:

  • The different types of Fire Extinguishers and their use
  • Dealing with a live controlled fire
  • Fire Safety on Site, looking at raising the alarm, understanding signage, etc.
  • Probable Causes of Fire, looking at on-site risks, housekeeping and workplace vigilance 

Managing the situation of a fire, training

In this specific training session, we give your staff an understanding of fire legislation and the particular duties of a Fire Warden. Greater awareness of the hazards presented by fire and increase their knowledge in practical fire safety measures.

A well-trained Fire Warden’s actions have proved to save lives and reduce the risk to commercial property.
