Practical use of a fire extinguisher, training

Ensure all your employees can use an extinguisher safely and effectively in the event of a workplace fire.

Your staff get hands-on experience of tackling a live controlled fire with the use of an extinguisher. As well as an understanding of the different types of extinguishers, the methods of operation, capabilities and limitations.

We cover the following:

  • The different types of Fire Extinguishers and their use

  • Fire Safety on Site, looking at raising the alarm, understanding signage, etc.

In this specific training session, we give your staff an understanding of fire legislation and the particular duties of a Fire Warden. Greater awareness of the hazards presented by fire and increase their knowledge in practical fire safety measures.
